What's your favorite kind of Girl Scout cookie?
Submitted by My Lovely One.
THIN MINTS. Anyone who can hook me up with a few boxes will totally win my heart.
What's the worst pickup line you've ever heard?
Submitted by ShellEy.
I don't usually get pickup lines, but instead get assaulted on the dancefloor which is infinitely more annoying. Note to the guy dancers out there: if I choose you for a little hot sweaty stranger dancing, I'll let you know. No need to grab my ass to let me know you're interested.
What's your dream career?

Director of plays. Preferably on Broadway, but not musicals. 'Twould be good.
Books, movies, music; what's in your top 5 right now?
- Getting the XM in my car working.
- The Infadels. Fun, Scissor Sisters-y dance music.
- Going to see The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui at Catalyst tonight.
- Rereading No Exit over and over and over.
- Coffee and chai tea. Loving the caffiene today.

What food or drink do you love when it's cold out? (Recipes and recommendations, please!)
Recently, I've been drinking soy chai lattes from Starbucks like they're going out of style. Mmmmm, vanilla-y cinnamon-y tea goodness.
Food wise? My mom always made a pretty good pot roast. With carrots and potatoes. Good stuff.
Now I'm hungry.
Do you listen to podcasts? Are there any you'd recommend?
Inspired by Alex.
I always forget to listen to audio podcasts...I download quite a few, but always forget that they're there.
Video podcasts, I like. Democracy Now, Rocketboom, Tiki Bar TV, Lynchland...they're all good. Every so often, I'll cave and watch Best Night Ever to catch up on the bad TV that I've avoided, but I've found that this is less fun without someone to mock it with. Alas.
What are your top 25 most played songs?
Submitted by Cooxie.
I find that the last.fm top ten of the week is more representative than the top 25 from iTunes.
What was your very first job?
Submitted by Laurel.
My very first job was at a summer camp teaching theatre when I was in high school. It was good because it was your typical summer camp job and I got paid decently for doing pretty much nothing. It was bad because the owner of the camp was a psychotic bitch who liked to make our jobs as difficult as possible. I still see her around town sometimes and she still looks like an overgrown beetle.
My second job (and first real job) was at Thundercloud Subs in San Antonio. It was great because nobody ever really came in and we could listened to whatever music we wanted. I chose a lot of REM and The Cure. I only lasted a week there because for my third shift, the manager who was supposed to come in never showed and I ran out of lettuce and turkey in the middle of my shift. When I left that night, I never came back. I couldn't deal with just being abandoned like that.
How did you meet your best friend(s)?
C: On a message board for a band that I liked about seven years ago. We met at a concert and then when I moved to DFW, we ended up hanging out a lot and eventually were roommates for quite a while...over a year, if memory serves.
M: Met on September 13, 2001 at a candlelight vigil for 9-11. A group of us in the DFWblogs group went to dinner at a restaurant in the Texas Rangers ballpark and went out into the empty bleachers and lit candles and just sat for a bit.
K: Met last year via another band message board and for some reason, we started hanging out. She's my drinking buddy and general co-trouble-maker.
